Aquine - An aquatic Islander, appearing as a horse in the front half with finned hooves and a large fish tail, created by combining an Equine Stone with a Fish Stone.
Creator - A being from our world who creates the creatures of Howl's Island and influences the island using his/her imagination and wishes (i.e. this is you!). Each Islander follows their own Creator.
Howl - The god of all Islanders who walks among them and listens to their problems; the purpose of his existence is to care for all his children.
Islander - Any of the intelligent species living on Howl's Island, most easily identified as a creature made from a combination of two creatures from our world.
Rune Stone - Magic-imbued stones of the island that are used to create and influence Islanders when placed on the Summoning Stone.
Taiutor - A terrestrial Islander, a bipedal reptile with bat wings and large teeth, created by combining a Raptor Stone with a Bat Stone.
